IDEA PILOT PROJECT first project which is based on advance cell-phone technology that’s help students to learn Spoken English in coordination with written material. The aim of this project is takes a child from words to sentences and paragraphs with emphasis on vocabulary and usage of English language at every stage.
It starts with phonemic awareness that will help the student to learn decode words clearly as possible. Listening to correct English and familiarity with usage, without emphasizing on grammar is the way to proceed at every level. We assume that mobile phone is one crucial aid in learning but the overall learning process also needs assistance of reading material, individual practice, and possibly group interactions without the mobile phone.
The program is for children and young adults who are not familiar with the sound of English Alphabets, sound of words and/or sentences. It is also for those who are familiar with some words but cannot read and pronounce most words. It is also for those who cannot read and understand simple sentences and who make mistakes in tenses or syntax. The focus is on reading fluently and speaking correctly with the help of reading material and cell phone technology.
This project currently running in four villages Ojatoo, Bakhtawarpura, Nunia Gothra, Khudana in chirawa block, under this project we are covering 337 students of 6th, 7th, and 8th standard and more to join soon.
